Description
Clomid (Clomifene)
50 MG – 50 Tablets
What is CLOMID?
Dynamic Pharmaceuticals CLOMID is also known as Clomifene. Some other trade names include Liquid Clomid, Klomifen, Tocofeno or Ovinum. It is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) so it is in the same group as Tamoxifen or Nolva, and is the most widely prescribed drug for ovulation induction, which is useful for those that are infertile.
Clomid Benefits
It is basically a women’s fertility drug – studies have shown a pregnancy rate of 5.6% per cycle with Clomid treatment versus 1.3 percent without it, so this makes Clomid a really inexpensive and really top notch fertility drug for females. Historically Clomid has been used since the 1960s to help females with infrequent menstruation, so after that it actually expanded to include fertility issues with females. There was a patent award awarded to it from Yale University medical researchers to predict fertility and women with the help of Clomiphene Citrate.
Clomid for Post Cycle Therapy
Male bodybuilders that are using anabolic steroids have found that the same mechanisms of increased luteinizing hormone can be taken advantage of to actually increase total testosterone levels and this is why Clomid is popular in post cycle therapy among people who cycle anabolic steroids.
Since Clomid has the ability to bind to estrogen receptors much like Nolvadex does in male users who run estrogenic compounds like testosterone and D-bol for example, it can be used as gynecomastia treatment, but it is a really weak anti-gyno aid. It is not recommended as a gynecomastia treatment as it is rarely used for that purpose. Because of its ability to boost testosterone levels it has actually been put on the World Anti-Doping Agency list of illegal doping agents in sports.
When a steroid user runs a cycle, their HPTA actually become suppressed and as a result their bodies’ LH, which is their luteinizing hormone, and FSH which is their follicle stimulating hormone drop to basically zero. And their body stops producing testosterone. Now their testicles typically will shrink as the body realizes that there are too many hormones present and it is not necessary to produce more, so when you come off a cycle it is important to run post cycle therapy to help recover your body’s HPTA. Unlike HCG, Clomid does not mimic LH in your body and as a result it does not cause testosterone to actually rise the suppressing LH and FSH levels in the body and this is why Clomid makes sense to use in PCT and HCG does not.
Clomid stimulates the hypothesis to release more gonadotropins. Gonadotropins or protein hormones that are secreted by gonadotrope cells, the pituitary gland and stimulate faster and higher release of follicle stimulating hormone. As well as luteinizing hormone so when an increase in gonadotropins happens, the rise in LH is gonna spike up the total testosterone levels allowing the user to artificially maintain high testosterone levels until their body is able to recover thus maintaining gains. To break it down – The male’s reproduction system: you have the pituitary, which controls the making of testosterone in the testes. Testosterone is made by Leydig cells now the pituitary releases LH which is a hormone that stimulates the Ladak cells to make testosterone.
Testosterone is then converted to the female hormone estrogen, and estrogen tells the pituitary to stop making more LH so when you introduce Clomid into the mix now what it does is block estrogen at the pituitary. so the pituitary sees less estrogen and then it begins to make more LH and more LH actually means that the Ladak cells in the testes make more testosterone. On the other hand, when a male injects hormones like testosterone the opposite happens the pituitary thinks the testes are making too much testosterone so your LH falls and the testes stop making testosterone, so Clomid does the job of manipulating and fooling the pituitary to produce more LH – That is why Clomid is so popular for PCT.
Why can’t you just use Clomid to cycle instead of anabolic steroids? Clomid is neither anabolic, androgenic or a hormone – it is a SERM, so cycling Clomid to make gains from high testosterone levels as some things seems to think would work makes no sense. Clomid should be used exclusively for post cycle therapy if you run blood work within three weeks of used your LH and total testosterone should rise significantly.
Suggested Dose and Administration
It is not recommended to go over 50mg per day, as you are going to start to see side-effects when you get in that 100mg range (yet many do this often). Studies have shown that at 150mg per day, dosage of Clomid that it can increase testosterone levels by a 150%, but that is when the side-effects start to occur you do not need that much. All that is needed is to keep it at 50mg and as
you progress on you can drop it down into the 25mg range.

Clomid blocks the estrogen receptors of the body preventing them from binding to estrogen. It is used to prevent side effects such as gynecomastia after anabolic steroid cycle. It also stimulates natural testosterone production. Though steroid does give the results that bodybuilders desire, it also comes with its own share of side effects, and to balance the side-effects most bodybuilders depends on Clomid. Clomid is also used to increase fertility with women.
