CYTOMEL T3 30 ML – 25 MCG
25 MCG – 30 ML
Dynamic Pharmaceuticals T3 Cytomel (generically known as Liothyronine, SR T3) is a powerful thyroid medication that contains pure and active T3 hormone. Cytomel is the commonly associated brand name given to the powerful synthetic thyroid hormone by the name Liothyronine Sodium. While synthetic in nature Cytomel is a perfect copy of the triodothyronine hormone which is commonly referred to as the T3 hormone. Thyroid hormones have been part of medical practice since the late 1800s. However, in the early days of treatment, the only forms available were pure animal extract. The synthetic version Cytomel provides a much safer and sanitary thyroid compound. It can help boost metabolism which leads to long-lasting weight loss for the right group of users. Most doctors do not prescribe this medication.
Specifically, Cytomel is given to those who suffer from hypothyroidism which is simply a thyroid hormone deficiency. This condition is well noted for promoting extreme body fat gain making fat loss extremely difficult to impossible as well as promoting lethargy hair loss and even changes in the texture of skin. By supplementing with T3, the most powerful and important thyroid hormone far more so than the T4 hormone, the problem is solved.
The effects of Cytomel are also greatly appreciated by anabolic steroid users. This is a very common medication found in the stacks of competitive bodybuilders or those who are implementing an extreme cutting cycle. Enhanced levels of the T3 hormone will not only greatly accelerate fat loss and often enabled the individual to keep his caloric intake a little higher than he might otherwise. Without question, this is one of the most powerful fat-burning tools on the market. But it is far from perfect. Many bodybuilders often report the Cytomel leaves them drained and flat feeling. This is not surprising as Cytomel feeds on where all ATP.
For this reason, if used for performance enhancement purposes it should not be used without anabolic steroids. If it is, a significant amount of muscle tissue may be lost.
T3 will directly increase your metabolism, thus resulting in higher body temperature and increased heart rate (by acting on cardiac myocytes).
T3 helps with weight loss in not just one tissue but several tissues throughout the body. T3’s effect on the liver includes an increase in lipolysis and reduction of body fat. In the muscle tissues, it increases energy expenditure or basal metabolic rate. In the fat cells, there is an increase in brown fat thermogenesis and that is going to result in decreased body weight. In the hypothalamus it re-synthesizes the body the brain to leptin which is important in weight management.
T3 is responsible for all of the positive benefits that is associated with the thyroid hormone, so that means taking T3 will help increase your basal metabolic rate. The amount of energy that is burned inside your muscle tissues will increase your metabolism and sensitize your body to insulin. It will directly help increase fat breakdown. Lastly, it is going to help reduce leptin resistance.
If you are correctly taking T3 with just the right amount in the right doses, you shouldn’t have any negative side effects, and instead experience all the positive benefits including weight loss, increased energy, decreased hair loss, increased cognition, improved memory, decreased brain fog, and improved sleep quality (cycle and circadian rhythm).
Who Should Use T3?
Check that you are not being under treated if you are not experiencing benefits. That being said there are certain users who would stand to benefit more from using T3 than others.
1) High levels of Reverse T3.
2) A history of leptin resistance or a serum fasting leptin level greater than 10.
3) Any history of diabetes, pre-diabetes or insulin resistance. T3 directly helps with increasing insulin sensitivity which is an advantage.
4) Personal or a family history of bipolar disorder or a strong family history of depression, or suicide. There have been some very interesting studies that have taken patients with bipolar disorder who have failed traditional conventional anti-psychotic therapies and mood stabilizers, etc. and they have showed that super dosing of T3 have shown in about 80% of patients were enough to dramatically dramatically reduce the symptoms of bipolar disorder.
5) Fibromyalgia and chronic pain or fatigue syndrome.
6) Not been feeling well on T4 only medications (Synthroid, Levothyroxine, Tirosint, etc).
T3 Safety Precautions
T4 is an inactive form of thyroid hormone that can be converted to T3, or Reverse T3 (what you don’t want). Under certain circumstances, various factors can increase Reverse T3 and decrease T3. Those things include stress, trauma, low calorie diets, inflammation, toxins like endocrine disruptors, and then certain medications. For instance, what can actually happen in a lot of users is that they are taking a T4 only medication and then also experiencing stress, not eating very clean and have other underlying issues that may make them feel worse. The advantage of T3 in this case is that if you do not supply the body with T4, then you have removed the reservoir that turns it into Reverse T3.
You can bypass this conversion process by directly using T3 – and that is exactly what Cytomel does. If you are somebody who has done a lot of low calorie diets or somebody who has inflammation, chronic pain, joint pain, under a tremendous amount of stress and taking T4, it may be turning into Reverse T3. So if you bypass this by taking Cytomel directly, you can get all the benefits of the hormone such as weight loss. Low thyroid hormone causes weight gain – by adding in T3 you are not only helping your body get the thyroid hormone it actually needs, but you are normalizing that amount that is in your body.
T3 Side Effects
Cytomel T3 is generally a very well tolerated thyroid hormone among must healthy adults. While there are possible side effects, they are generally associated with an overdose of the compound. Taking TOO MUCH T3 may result in the following symptoms:
By far the most common include weight loss and hair loss, but hair loss is usually a temporary side effect that goes in about 2 to 3 months. The other side effects include a headache, sweating, irregular, heartbeat nervousness and increased bowel mortality and menstrual irregularities. Furthermore there would be heart palpitations, increased heart rate, increased body temperature or hot flashes, weight gain (uncommon but it does happen), jittery sensations from increased anxiety, or diarrhea. Heart failure while rare is also possible with Cytomel abuse. Those who supplement with the compound for extremely long periods may also find hyperthyroid symptoms to occur.
Suggested Dose and Administration
For the individual suffering from hypothyroidism, the average size ml dose is 1.7 micrograms per kilogram of body weight, and it is taken indefinitely at the discretion of the attending physician. For the purpose of fat loss among performance athletes the average size ml dose normally begins at 25 to 50 micrograms per day and will increase 25 to 50 micrograms every two to four days until the maximum needed dose is reached.
Another option is beginning at 25 micrograms per day and increasing twelve points five micrograms every two to three weeks is needed in either case the maximum dose will normally fall in the 100 to 150 microgram per day range.
Total use of Cytomel will normally fall in the 8 to 12-week range, eight weeks being the safest and should not surpass 12 to 16 week in most cases. Once use is discontinued a slight ramping down of the dose 25 micrograms every two days is advised once the individual is at 25 micrograms per day he should hold it this dose for five to seven days and then discontinue. Use should not be discontinued abruptly as this will potentially stress the body due to a rapid and shocking hormone change.
The following metrics are recommended instead of specific dosages because there are large variables between individuals. Monitor these variables to ensure that you are not overdosing on T3 and risk the chances of negative side effects or hyperthyroid symptoms.
- Body temperature must not exceed 98.6 degrees
- During rest (not to be confused with sleep), the resting heart rate must not exceed 80-90 BPM
Some users do well on 5mcg of T3, and some do well on 100mcg daily. It is better to focus on a ratio that you need to lose weight and feel better. Generally, the more medical problems, the more likely users need higher doses of T3.
If you decide to use Cytomel T3 or any other formulation of T3, there are a few things that must be done to make sure that you are taking the right amount for yourself.
1) Monitor your resting heart rate or resting pulse every morning
2) Monitor your basal body temperature every morning
Both of those things can be increased by T3, and since being on T3 your thyroid levels can change dramatically which means they also become more difficult to interpret.
T3 has a direct effect on most of your body functions. The way thyroid hormone works is that it latches onto the nucleus of the cell and kick-starts genetic transcription, which is how the thyroid hormone from T3 works in most tissues of your body. However, in certain tissues like your heart, it does not do that. In fact, T3 just sits right on the calcium channels, and this causes an increased force of contraction in the heart immediately. This is why some people who take T3 feel that rush of palpitation or jittery sensations. It works differently with the heart so that is why it is important to monitor the heart rate while doing this.
T3 can be potentially dangerous if not used correctly. Please contact your physician and do thorough research before starting any type of diet, exercise program, supplement program, drug therapy or if you feel that you may have an existing medical condition.
